Why Digital Nomadism?

The short answer: Because I can say yes to life!

There's the obvious flexibility that being a nomad provides. But it's more than that.

Being a digital nomad allows me to pursue passions such as traveling, hiking, discovering new cultures, learning new skills and becoming more resilient, whilst still growing my professional career.

I can explore multiple lives, different lifestyles. Living in Canadian mountains, on an Australian beach, or moving around Central America. What do I love more? Where do I want to spend more time? Who do I want to grow into? What does my heart want? My soul? These are questions I allow myself to ask, and then look for the answers. In fact, I make sure to ask such questions frequently.

I can live in the middle of a forest, then pack up and go visit my family in a heartbeat. Without taking vacation time. Without asking for permission.

I can say yes to visiting a friend halfway across the globe. Without worrying about having enough time there, without wondering if it'll be worth it.

I can jump on the opportunity that a flash flight sale offers. Without checking my calendar first (or almost!).

I can stay put in a town I love for months. A year. However long I want. Just because I can. And I don't need to constantly be on the move. Being a nomad doesn't mean I must always be moving. It simply means I have the choice.

I choose to be a digital nomad to embrace the endless possibilities that life offers.

I can say yes to what comes my way. I can reassess my life often. Making sure it is fulfilling, that I am always getting closer to my dreams. Just in case we do only get to live once...
