Being a Digital Nomad is not about working from the most picturesque beach, or from the fanciest hotel in Bali. It can be. But it doesn't have to be. The truth is it's so much more!

A real digital nomad knows this lifestyle is not a phase. It is not a means to finance a "modern" version of a gap year. It's not about seeing as many countries as possible. It's about pursuing our passions and quenching our thirst for adventure, whilst working a job (or jobs!) that we love and which fulfills us.
Above that, an ethical digital nomad knows that we can travel the world whilst making constant efforts to make it a better place. It is possible, and so important, to travel in a way that empowers communities, not hurts them.
